Eddy de Clercq presents new video clip
On Saturday 20 and Sunday 21, June 2009 the video clip for 'Les Montres Sacrés' of Eddy de Clercq Quartet will be releasaed for a live audience during 'Brand in Mokum, RoXY revisited' in Paradiso, Amsterdam.
De Clercq is one of the original creaters of Club RoXY and was since the opening in August 1987 until April 1991 a DJ and creative director of the club. Since that time he profiled himself as producer of his own music which came out on labels such as Go Bang, R&S, Aspro, Blue Note, Warner, enz. And he made an appropriate soundtrack for the fashion shows of Hollands fashion pride Viktor & Rolf. Because of this co-operation the album 'Music for Catwalks' was made, with the song 'Les Montres Sacrés' on it.
The clip was produced by the Brazilian director Linhares Jr for WE Productions. Specially for the video clip they recorded a new version of 'Les Monstres Sacrés'. In the clip you will see various icons from all over the world of fashion and theater; Lagerfield, St Laurent, Chanel, Serge Gainsbourg, Bowie, Andy Warhol... a personal ode to fashion and music.
