Renske Taminiau and Matangi Quartet join forces
On the 29th of April youth-association Entrée organizes ‘Night of the queen’, a unique concert for young audiences. During this concert Renske Taminiau and the Matangi Quartet will play a contemporary cross over between modern jazz and classical music.
The Mantangi Quartet is one of the most promising Chamber music ensembles of the Netherlands. Their blazing play and smooth presentation represents a new generation of classical musicians. Their play is combined with the fairytale like, authentic music of Renske. A new kind of three-dimensional world will come into being when these people cross their music. The ‘Night of the Queen’ will be held in the Concert building of Amsterdam. After the concert there will be an after party with the performance of dj-formation Wicked Jazz Sounds.
